At this year’s Membership Meeting in Naples Florida, the President and Chairman of the Board of FMSI Frank Oliveto along with Treasurer Rick Jamieson; announced that over the next 12 Months new and improved member services will be launched.
FMSI’ Board approved plans to modernize the core technologies and operating systems, as well as streamlining the process for new part introductions. A Members only web-page is being developed so our members can track the progress of submissions.
Oliveto announced plans to move FMSI to the Motor City. Dexter MI is the likely landing spot which is just outside of Ann Arbor MI. Also announced were plans to collaborate more with FMSI’s supply partners as well as plans to open FMSI China, this leads into a 5 year strategic plan to double FMSI Global Membership.
At the annual meeting FMSI recognized Dynamic Friction for its leading contribution and support of new FMSI applications, including the submission of a new FMSI Milestone! D2000

This year’s annual event saw record company participation, next year FMSI will be celebrating its 70th anniversary. The brake weekend will take place at the “Resort in Long Boat Key” Florida, June 1st thru June 4th, 2018. Save the Date!
