The Sheffield-based distributor of MEI commercial vehicle products MEI Brakes has doubled the size of its premises at a former steelworks site.
MEI Brakes has expanded at 58 Newhall, the former steelworks site that property and investment group Strawson Property has transformed into a business park.
MEI’s expansion is part of an extensive 14-month 12-acre regeneration project that sees the distributor take immediate occupancy of a 20,000 sq ft warehouse facility, and an additional 5,000 sq ft office suite.
58 Newhall is in Sheffield’s Lower Don Valley region, and has easy access to both the M1 and the city centre.
Established in 1998, MEI Brakes now supplies parts to more than 60 countries worldwide.
